Performance Dances of America 

20-  or 40-Session Residency for Grades 3-12

After students learn dances from two major contributing cultures of America—West African and European— students learn the performance dances that came out of Twentieth Century America when the two cultures “mixed,”  such as jazz and tap.


Dances of America 

20-  or 40-Session Residency for Grades 3-12

Students learn dances of three major cultural influences of America: West African, European, and Native American.  

Appalachian Folk Dance / Early American Dance:

20-  or 40-Session Residency for Grades 3-12

Students learn contra, circle and square dances that were integral to the Appalachian culture and America’s early settlers and pioneers. (May be altered for K-2.)


The Roaring 20's: America's Social Dances

20-  or 40-Session Residency for Grades 3-12

After students learn dances from two major contributing cultures of America—West African and European— students learn the social dances that came out of Twentieth Century America when the two cultures “mixed,”  such as The Big Apple and Swing.
